Promila loves all aspects of General Practice and has a special interest in Skin Cancer surgery. She is a trained eye specialist from India. She divides her time between the practice and her three children.

Jit migrated from India in 1996. He worked in Trauma and Orthopedics at Hastings Hospital. He obtained a Fellowship in Accident and Medical Practice and subsequently a Fellowship in General Practice. Jit has a specialist interest in Immigration Medicals including complex immigration medicals

  • It is ethically and legally necessary, fostering trust, transparency, and patient safety improvements.

  • Open disclosure should happen within a day or so of identifying the event, ideally led by the patient’s primary care provider.

  • Discussions are documented, including details of the event, participants, and decisions made.

  • Patients may refuse open disclosure, but their choice must be documented.
